Sharjah Ruler orders release of 237 prisoners

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah has ordered release of 237 male and female prisoners of different nationalities at the Sharjah Punitive and Correctional facilities.

Sheikh Sultan's orders to release the prisoners were made to mark the holy month of Ramadan and to enable prisoners who are eligible for pardon under good conduct requirements to reunite with their families during the holy month.
