Sharjah Ruler attends AUS graduation ceremony

Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi said that the university graduates who are armed with science and knowledge have become the country's greatest wealth.

Addressing the students at the graduation ceremony of Fall 2011-12 semester of the AUS, Sheikh Sultan, who is the founder and President of the American University of Sharjah, also said that the students who graduate earning higher education is the future of the country, who will push the wheel of progress forward.

A total of 492 male and female students graduated today at the ceremony held at the University City Hall under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan.

Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler HH Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi and Deputy Ruler HH Sheikh Abdullah Bin Salem Al Qasimi were present at the graduation.

The students received their certificates at the ceremony which was attended by a number of Sheikhs, AUS Chancellor Dr. Peter Heath, senior officials and parents of the students.
